AVATAR ARCHITETTURA (Nicola Santini - Pier Paolo Taddei) was founded in 2001 in Florence/Paris. It worked with P.t.Lang for Elasticity and with Jelena Zanchi for its Croatian projects. It has been invited to run workshops in Naples, Florence and Rome; it had lectures at Inarc in Rome and at Arkitekturzentrum in Wien. It has designed interiors and urban installations in Florence and abroad; it 's  the author of the underground renovation of the Uffizi Gallery. It designed temporary pavillions for the last two Biennale de l'environnement in Paris and participated to the 1st Architectural Biennial Beijing (2004), the 9th Venice Biennale (2004), the Festival Architecture Vives (Paris, 2004), NET.IT (Barcelona, 2005), Biennale Internationale Design Saint–Étienne (2006), 5th Biennale Architecture Brasilia (2006), 10th Venice Biennale (2006, with the contribution of Yona Friedman) and to the 11th Venice Architecture Biennale (2008, with the contribution of G.P. Frassinelli, Superstudio).
